Contrast therapy FAQ’S
-
A typical session lasts 45–60 minutes, starting with 30 minutes in the Smart Sauna, followed by a 2–3 minute Cryo Plunge, a brief rest, then another 15–20 minutes in the sauna. You can end with a final plunge—or skip it for evening sessions to promote relaxation.
-
It’s cold, yes—but most clients find it exhilarating, and the warmth that follows feels incredibly grounding.
-
Our Smart Sauna uses full-spectrum infrared heat to penetrate deeply into muscles and tissues, promoting detox, recovery, and relaxation—without the intense heat of traditional saunas.
-
Yes! It’s an ideal pairing with PEMF, massage, salt therapy, or a cryo facial. Ask about our wellness packages.
-
Unlike traditional ice baths, our Cryo Plunge maintains a consistent cold temperature with ozone-filtered water for a cleaner, more comfortable experience—no floating ice, no harsh shock. It’s a smoother entry into cold therapy, with faster recovery benefits and improved hygiene.
-
The water is typically kept between 39–50°F (4–10°C)—cold enough to trigger healing responses, but tolerable and safe. Most clients find it invigorating and energizing, especially when paired with the warmth of the sauna.
-
Absolutely. If you're coming in the evening or prefer a calming finish, you can end in the sauna instead of cold. We tailor the flow to your needs and comfort.
-
1–2 times per week is great for recovery and resilience. It can also be used occasionally as a full reset when you’re feeling depleted or sore.
-
Come well-hydrated and avoid heavy meals 1–2 hours before. Bring a swimsuit or comfortable change of clothes. We’ll guide you through everything—no experience necessary.
-
Wear a swimsuit or athletic wear you're comfortable getting wet. We’ll provide towels and robes. For the sauna, lighter is better—just be sure to hydrate and avoid heavy lotions beforehand.
