Dermaplaning
Achieve smoother skin, zero peach fuzz, and a glowing complexion.
Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation that immediately rejuvenates the skin by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) with a sterile surgical blade. It is also highly effective in minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars while leaving skin smooth, supple, and vibrant. It increases the penetration of active ingredients in the treatment and home care products. It also creates the perfect canvas for makeup.
What are the benefits of dermaplaning?
Clients can expect smoother skin, zero peach fuzz for approximately 3-4 weeks, and brighter-looking skin. Also, since you’re removing all your dead skin cells, your skincare products will better penetrate your skin, allowing them to be more effective.
What are the side effects of dermaplaning?
When working with a professional, dermaplaning is safe for all skin types. Some may experience some slight redness after, but that should subside after a few hours. Dermaplaning, along with any advanced exfoliation, will make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Make sure to wear at least an SPF 30 after your treatment.
Will dermaplaning cause my hair to grow back darker?
Absolutely not! The only way the structure of your hair will change is through hormones or medication. Your hair will grow back exactly the same color and thickness as it was previously.
Can you wear makeup after dermaplaning?
If possible, it is best to avoid makeup on the day of your service. The next day you are perfectly fine to apply your makeup as usual. It is a good idea to make sure your makeup brushes are clean before applying.
How often do I need dermaplaning treatments?
To continue the benefits and get the best results from the treatment, once a month is best. We offer monthly memberships to make this easier and more affordable for clients to achieve their skincare goals.
