HALOTHERAPY FAQ

Before You Book

Everything you need to know about the salt suite, what to wear and what to expect during your session.

What exactly is halotherapy?

Halotherapy, also known as dry salt therapy, uses a halogenerator to grind pharmaceutical-grade salt into very fine particles and disperse them throughout a dedicated room while you relax and breathe normally.

How long is a session?

A standard RE·MEDĒ halotherapy session is 20 minutes, making it easy to fit into a lunch break, post-workout recovery routine or wellness day.

What does a session feel like?

The experience is quiet and passive. You sit comfortably, breathe normally and relax in the cool, dry air. Many guests close their eyes, meditate or simply enjoy a calm pause.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever feels comfortable. Halotherapy is a clothes-on experience, so casual clothing or gym attire is fine.

Will salt get on my clothes or hair?

The salt particles are extremely fine and generally do not leave visible residue, so most guests can continue with their day immediately afterward.

How is this different from salt walls or salt lamps?

Decorative salt walls and lamps create atmosphere. Active dry salt therapy uses a halogenerator to create and circulate a fine dry salt aerosol throughout the treatment space.

How often can I use halotherapy?

Frequency depends on your wellness goals, preferences and health history. Some guests enjoy occasional sessions while others incorporate halotherapy more regularly.

Can children use the salt suite?

Please contact our team before booking halotherapy for a child so we can review age requirements, supervision and whether the service is appropriate. A parent or guardian must remain with the child during the session.

Is the room private?

The suite may be booked privately or shared with friends. Contact our team for current group options, capacity and additional charges.

Are there reasons to avoid halotherapy?

Yes. Certain illnesses, respiratory conditions, cardiovascular conditions and other health circumstances may mean you should postpone a session or speak with your healthcare provider first. Review the safety information below before booking.
