Is Halotherapy Right for You?

When to wait for a later date:

  • Fever or a contagious illness (cold, flu, COVID-19, etc.)

  • An active respiratory infection or uncontrolled, persistent cough

  • Open wounds or an active skin infection/rash

  • Recent ENT/sinus surgery (until your clinician clears you)

  • Severe claustrophobia that would make a closed room uncomfortable

Consult your doctor first if you have:

  • Have severe or uncontrolled asthma (or are in the middle of an attack)

  • Have advanced COPD or use supplemental oxygen

  • Have significant cardiovascular disease or uncontrolled hypertension

  • Have (or are being evaluated for) active tuberculosis

  • Are pregnant or immunocompromised (including during active treatment)

Good-to-know:

A Normal Response: Sessions are dry, so you might feel a mild throat tickle or have a brief cough. This is just the salt doing its job! We recommend hydrating well before and after your visit.

Safety First: If you use a rescue inhaler, please keep it with you during your session just in case.

Your Comfort Matters: If you feel any discomfort at any time, simply stop the session and notify our team. We're here to help.
