FSM is a low-level electrical stimulation technique. Here is what to know before your first session.

How long is an FSM appointment, and what does it cost?

Our FSM appointment is 60 minutes and costs $180. It includes discussion of your goal, setup and microcurrent treatment.

What can FSM help with?

FSM is used as a complementary approach to musculoskeletal pain management. The goal is to improve comfort in an area that feels sore, tight or restricted. Suitability depends on the cause of your symptoms and your health history; unexplained or persistent pain should be assessed by your healthcare provider.

Will I feel the electrical current?

Often very little. FSM uses microamp-level current, and many people feel no electrical sensation. Tell your attendant if you feel uncomfortable at any point.

How is FSM different from TENS or PEMF?

FSM delivers very low electrical current through conductive contacts, paired with selected frequencies. TENS commonly uses electrical stimulation you can feel. PEMF uses pulsed electromagnetic fields. If you are deciding between services, call us to discuss your goal.

Will one session be enough?

Responses vary. Some people notice a change after treatment; others may not. Research on FSM is still developing, and one visit cannot guarantee pain relief or lasting improvement. Discuss your response before deciding whether to book again.

How should I prepare?

Arrive hydrated and wear clothing that allows access to the area being treated. Tell the team about relevant medical conditions, implanted devices and recent treatment. Follow any fluid restrictions or other instructions from your healthcare provider.

Can I combine FSM with a massage or ozone sauna?

Ask our team about suitability and scheduling before booking multiple services. This booking is for the standalone FSM appointment. Ask what is included in an ozone sauna session rather than assuming it is equivalent to a dedicated FSM visit.

Is FSM right for you?

Although the electrical current used in FSM is extremely low, electrical stimulation is not appropriate for everyone. Tell our team about relevant medical conditions or implanted devices before treatment.
